In the aftermath of the pandemic, the tourism industry is now seemingly aligned under the ambition to ‘build back better’ through responsible and sustainable tourism. As excited as we are for the this aspiration to be achieved, one of the aspects of sustainable tourism that is sometimes overlooked is how guests benefit from it.
Enter ‘Travel for Good’, an initiative borne out of the understanding that, when communities and environments are supported and uplifted through tourism, travellers also benefit by having amazing, feel-good experiences that are more authentic, more transformative, and more enjoyable.
By analyzing our responsible tours to identify common themes, benefits and experiences, we’ve created new array of options allowing guests to have specific benefits based on their preferences. The three major categories are Cultural Heritage, Community Empowerment and Low Carbon.
